What this mod does
This add-on by Sogard3 adds low deck (lowered) chassis to the Renault Range T and T Evo that come with ETS2. It’s not a new truck: it expands SCS’s Renault so the tractor sits low and can pull mega trailers and high-volume semi-trailers, with the look of the European fleets that use this setup.
What it adds
- Low deck chassis with the fifth wheel moved forward and, since 1.8, a 3.7 m wheelbase variant.
- Front and rear fenders, mud flaps and raised spoilers for the normal, Sleeper and High cabs.
- Several small fuel tanks and a reworked large one.
- 2024-style side skirts (version 1.9).
DLC and credits
You don’t need any DLC to use it, but the author warns that some painted parts only work if you have the Renault tuning DLC. The part icons are by m1keY, and the thread also credits Galimim and SCS.
Version
Version 1.9 (March 8, 2026) is ready for ETS2 1.58 and fixes a gap in the side skirts on the 3.7 m chassis. The thread doesn’t announce a version for 1.61 yet, so test it on a secondary profile before using it on your main save. If you’re sticking with an older version of the game, the first post keeps the older downloads.

Requirements

How to install it
- Open Sogard3's official thread on the SCS forum and use the version 1.9 link in the first post.
- Unzip the .zip and copy the .scs file to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
- Activate the add-on in the Mod Manager, above any other mods that change the Renault.
- Go to a Renault dealer or a service shop and choose one of the Range T or T Evo low deck chassis.
- Add the matching fenders, spoilers and side skirts and pair the truck with a mega trailer.

Common problems
Does it replace SCS's Renault?
No. It adds new chassis to the in-game Range T and T Evo; the original chassis are still available.
Do I need a DLC?
Not for the chassis. According to the author, some painted parts only work with the Renault tuning DLC.
Does it work on 1.61?
The latest version listed is for 1.58. Check the thread for news before installing it on 1.61.
Are there versions for older games?
Yes. The first post keeps earlier downloads, such as 1.8 for 1.54.
