BeamNG.drive mods
BeamNG.drive mods reviewed one by one: cars, maps, trucks, parts and apps, with the compatible version listed on each mod page and a link to its official download on the Repository.
New in BeamNG
Mods new on Holymod or updated by their authors in the last 14 days.
Here are 213 mods for BeamNG.drive, hand-picked: cars and bikes, maps, trucks and buses, and apps that change how you play. Each mod page explains what the mod adds and links only to its official download, almost always the BeamNG Repository, where moderators review every mod before it's published. The current version of the game is 0.40 (October 19, 2026): on each mod page we list the latest version the author declares, and we flag it if it isn't confirmed for 0.40 yet or if it needs another mod to work.
Types of BeamNG.drive mods

Featured BeamNG mods: where to start
If it's your first time installing BeamNG mods, start with these. They're all free:
- Car Jump Arena: the most downloaded map on the Repository, a jump and crash park with a stadium, a 70-meter tower and minigames.
- Skeleton Coast: an 8x8 km desert inspired by Namibia, with 70 km of highway, dunes, mines and an island.
- Ibishu 300BX: an '80s Japanese sports car with a V6 and 2+2 and T-top versions, one of the most downloaded cars on the Repository.
- Gavril Vertex NA2: a compact with over 100 configurations and around 1,300 parts to build the car your way.
- Hirochi Outlaw: a '90s sport bike with a rider, six engines and a drift version.
- Dynamic Damage Particles: crashes leave glass, plastic and chunks of bodywork on the road.
- BeamMP: adds online multiplayer with its own launcher and automatically downloads the mods each server uses.
Police, truck and map mods
If you're looking for police mods, the Ibishu CrossSport comes with police and taxi versions, the Ibishu Mirena includes police parts, and Most Wanted Mission sets up chases with wanted levels and roadblocks on the game's maps. For trucks, the Gavril MT-Series modernizes the T-Series with new cabs and 10- and 18-speed gearboxes, and the Capsule reaches 19.5 meters in its articulated version. For maps, Autobahn 57k is ideal for driving fast in traffic, and Lake Farsoe is designed for modest PCs.
How to install mods in BeamNG.drive
You have two options, and both end up in the same folder:
- In-game Repository: open Repository from the main menu, find the mod and click Subscribe. It downloads and activates on its own. On the beamng.com/resources website, the Subscribe button does the same by opening the game.
- Manual install: if you download the .zip with Download Now, don't unzip it. In the launcher, go to Manage User Folder and Open in Explorer, open (or create) the mods folder and drag the .zip into it.
- Manage what you've installed: from the in-game Mods Manager you can update, enable and disable each mod. BeamNG recommends not going over 20 or 30 mods at a time to avoid conflicts.
- If something breaks: launch in Safe Mode from the launcher. It uses a temporary user folder with no mods; if the problem goes away, one of your mods is outdated or clashes with another.
Be wary of mods that come as an .exe: BeamNG mods are distributed as .zip files. You'll find the full step-by-step in the guide how to install mods in BeamNG.drive.
BeamNG mods and game versions
When the second number of the version changes (for example, from 0.38 to 0.39), it counts as a major update: the game automatically cleans up the user folder and some mods may need their author to update them. That's why each mod page shows which version the mod is made for, and it's worth checking the date of the last update before installing it.
Playing on console? What's known about the PlayStation edition is in the guide BeamNG.drive on PS5. And if your PC is on the edge, check the BeamNG.drive system requirements before loading big maps like River Highway.
How we pick BeamNG mods
We only add mods published by their author on the official Repository or on their own page, and we check that they're updated for the current version of the game. On each mod page you'll see the author, the download source and the compatible version.
Frequently asked questions about BeamNG.drive mods
How do you install mods in BeamNG.drive?
The easiest way is to use the in-game Repository and click Subscribe. If you download the .zip manually, don't unzip it: copy it into the mods folder inside your user folder (Launcher > Manage User Folder > Open in Explorer).
Where is the BeamNG mods folder?
Inside the game's user folder, in the mods subfolder. On Windows you open it from the launcher with Manage User Folder and Open in Explorer; on Linux it's in ~/.local/share/BeamNG/BeamNG.drive/current.
Is the in-game Repository the same as beamng.com/resources?
Yes, it's the same official repository: in the game you subscribe with one click, and on the website you can subscribe or download the .zip to install it manually. Moderators review every mod before it's published.
Why has a BeamNG mod stopped working?
It usually happens after a major game update: the mod needs its author to update it. Launch in Safe Mode to confirm the problem comes from a mod, then disable mods in groups from the Mods Manager until you find it.
Are there police mods for BeamNG?
Yes. Several cars in the catalog, like the Ibishu CrossSport or the Ibishu Mirena, come with police versions or parts, and Most Wanted Mission adds chases with wanted levels.
Can you play BeamNG.drive online with mods?
Yes, with BeamMP, a free mod (with optional paid extras) that adds online multiplayer with its own launcher and automatically downloads the mods each server uses. You need a legal, up-to-date copy of the game.
