What this mod does

The Hirochi Outlaw is one of the most downloaded motorcycles on the BeamNG.drive Repository, with more than 900,000 downloads. It’s a budget ’90s bike from the fictional Hirochi brand, with a rider included and physics that genuinely behave like a motorcycle, not a car on two wheels.

What’s included

  • 12 configurations with six possible engines, turbos and plenty of exhausts, including a modern three-cylinder, a scrambler, a track version with its own fairing and a drift version.
  • Extensive cosmetic customization: engine, covers, frame and wheels can be painted separately.
  • Dedicated controls: maximum lean angle (U), steering damping (I), parked photo mode (Y), manual choke (O) and rider posture on a controller axis.
  • Electronic riding aids in the most recent versions.

Tips

It takes practice: avoid hard braking or throttle with the bike leaned over, keep your inputs smooth and, if it starts to wobble, back off the throttle or pick it up. The author recommends a wheel with about 140 degrees of total rotation; on keyboard or controller, adjust the lean angle with the U key. The older models need the choke for cold starts.

Release notes

Version 1.18, from September 28, 2026, introduces rounded-profile tires, which greatly improve cornering behavior.

Common problems

The bike won't start, what's wrong?

The older models have a manual choke: turn it on with the O key before a cold start.

It falls over or wobbles in corners, how do I ride it?

Keep your inputs smooth, don't brake or accelerate hard while leaned over, and try changing the maximum lean angle with the U key.

Some parts are invisible in certain configurations, is that normal?

Some users have seen it (for example on the Slingshot version); it's a known bug in the mod.

The rider posture doesn't respond, why?

It's controlled with an analog axis on the controller; some users say it doesn't work well in certain configurations.
