What this mod does

The Ibishu 300BX is a 1980s Japanese sports coupe with a V6 engine, inspired by the most luxurious generation of a well-known “Z” sports car line. With more than 1.2 million downloads, it’s one of the most popular modded cars on the BeamNG.drive Repository.

What’s included

  • 2+2 and T-top bodies.
  • Early (zenki) and facelift (kouki) front and rear ends, with a specific license plate for the kouki.
  • Stock configurations with narrow tires, a race version, police and a drift variant.
  • Factory adjustable dampers, a working rear diffuser, an optional center tail light and custom bumpers.

Who it’s for

If you like ’80s Japanese sports cars and night drives with a retro vibe, this car is a great fit. Heads up: the stock versions run skinny tires and the rear gets twitchy at high speed; the author recommends turning on the game’s “Oversteer Assistant” and “Slow Steering at Speed” aids.

Release notes

On August 4, 2026, the author reworked the lighting for 0.39 (filament bulbs and new headlights) and adjusted the aerodynamics. Version 1.83, from August 7, adds cosmetic details and tweaks the suspension and handling.

The drift configuration feels awful with a wheel, is that normal?

A user reports that the force feedback on the quick-steering drift variant is very harsh; try another configuration or lower the FFB strength.
