What this mod does

The Blackpool Superlite is a very light British roadster that spans almost 70 years of evolution of the same design. Most variants weigh around 600 kg, which puts it among the lightest street cars you can drive in BeamNG.drive.

What’s included

  • Street, track and race versions, from current models to 1960s-style configurations.
  • Several engine options: modern Ibishu powertrains, a Gavril V8 swap, Miramar engines, the ITK inline-six, the Pigeon’s 1300 cc and a small turbocharged 660 cc kei engine.
  • A choice of rear suspension (De Dion axle, solid axle or double wishbone) and coilovers.
  • A customizable interior: gauges, switches, seats and colors.
  • Compatible with Career mode: the trunk fits a medium cargo box.

Who it’s for

If you like small, light and very direct cars, this is one of the most fun on the Repository. With so little weight, any engine or suspension change is very noticeable, so it’s ideal for tinkering in the configurator and testing on tracks or mountain roads.

Release notes

Version 3.1.3 adapts the car to BeamNG.drive 0.39: new lights using the game’s generic system, revised logo materials, subcategories in the menu and cleaned-up wheel meshes. The race variants need the Racetec Universal Racing Parts mod by the same author to display the steering wheel and gauges.

Because they use parts from the Racetec Universal Racing Parts mod; install it from its Repository page.

Does it work in Career mode?

Yes, the author states it's compatible with Career and that the trunk fits a medium cargo box.

After upgrading from an old version I see missing parts or textures, what should I do?

Delete the previous version of the mod, clear the cache from the game's launcher and install 3.1.3.
