What this mod does
Carbonworks F4 is a fictional single-seater based on real Formula 4 cars, the entry-level category of open-wheel racing. Its author designed it for serious driving with a wheel or controller, not for loading it up with parts: customization is deliberately limited to resemble a spec car, like the ones in real-world racing series.

What’s new in 1.3.2
The August 5, 2026 version is the fix for 0.39: it adapts the glowing materials and lights to the new lighting system, improves the dashboard display, adds glowing brake discs and new cockpit controls, and adapts the keybinds to the new interaction system.
It’s a great choice if you like circuits, racing against the AI or want to practice racing lines with a light, responsive car that punishes mistakes.

Requirements
- BeamNG.drive 0.39 or later
- A wheel or controller recommended to get the most out of it
- A map with a race track (for example, the official ones or one from the Repository)
How to install it
- Quick option: in the main menu open Repository, search for Carbonworks F4 and click Subscribe.
- Manual option: download the .zip from the official Repository page and don't unzip it.
- Copy the .zip into %LOCALAPPDATAamNGBeamNG.drivecurrentmods (create the mods folder if it doesn't exist).
- Delete previous versions of the mod if you had them.
- Load a map with a race track in Freeroam and find the Carbonworks F4 in the vehicle selector.

Why does it have so few parts to swap?
It's intentional: the author limits customization to mimic the rules of real Formula 4.
Does it work on 0.39?
Yes. Version 1.3.2 was released as a specific fix for 0.39.
Does it have wet tires?
Yes, it includes slick and wet compounds.
