What this mod does
The ETK K-Series 1994 is a convertible roadster from ETK, one of BeamNG.drive’s fictional brands. According to the mod’s backstory, it’s the first generation of ETK’s roadster, built between 1994 and 2001, before the model returned in 2015 as a coupe. Its strong point is the level of finish: many players say it looks like a stock car from the game.
What’s included
- 3D model and jbeam structure made from scratch following the BeamNG developers’ standards.
- Every panel opens and the canvas soft top is realistically simulated; when you open it, the windows roll down on their own.
- Five new wheels for five-lug hubs: ETK cs10, Touring-5, ts10, Aero-10 and Alutech.
- Manual and automatic configs, including Street Tuned, Beater and Offroad, quick steering for drifting and police parts.
- Fender flares, headlight «eyelids», a ducktail spoiler and two types of front lip.
Compatibility
The latest version, 1.4.1, is a fix released after BeamNG.drive 0.36 came out. It hasn’t received any further updates since. The mod page doesn’t mention Career mode or multiplayer.
Tips
If you’re updating from an older version, delete the old mod first: the author explains that leftover files from 1.4 made the soft top and windows look broken. It’s a car made for fun, with a playful drivetrain, ideal for mountain roads and for testing damage, and players praise its damage model.

How to install it
- Open the 1994 ETK K-Series page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download or subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- Delete any older version of the mod so you don't mix in old files.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder inside your BeamNG.drive user folder.
- Launch the game, check in the Mod Manager that it's enabled and find the ETK K-Series in the vehicle selector.

Common problems
The soft top and windows look broken, how do I fix it?
Remove older versions of the mod and install 1.4.1: the bug came from leftover 1.4 files.
Does it work on the newest game versions?
The author last updated it for 0.36; a user said in September 2026 that they can't use it since 0.39, so it may fail on 0.39 and 0.40.
The car feels heavy to me, is that normal?
