What this mod does
Autobahn 57k is a map built for one thing: going very fast for a very long time. It recreates a German autobahn with two lanes in each direction that forms a loop of about 57 kilometers through a hilly landscape, with no traffic lights or intersections forcing you to brake.
What you’ll find
- An autobahn loop of about 57 km with on- and off-ramps.
- AI traffic that drives at high speeds, like on a real autobahn.
- Rest areas and a gas station lit up at night.
- Country roads as a bonus, connecting different areas of the map.

Who it’s for
Perfect for testing top speeds, doing long runs in supercars, putting a car’s stability to the test at 250 km/h or simply driving with traffic without worrying about anything else. The author himself admits the roadside elements are designed to be seen at high speed, not up close.
Release notes
Version 1.6 was released on July 30, 2026, for compatibility with 0.39: it fixes the tree materials, adds a new sky and cloud layer and brings night lighting to the gas station. Performance is similar to the official maps, although it isn’t optimized for very modest PCs.

How to install it
- Open the Autobahn 57k page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Download it with the Download button or subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, leave the .zip (don't unzip it) in the mods folder inside your user folder.
- Start BeamNG.drive and go to Freeroam.
- Choose Autobahn 57k from the map list and turn on traffic from the menu if you want to drive with AI.
