What this mod does
Rutas Argentinas is a community map that takes BeamNG.drive to the Argentine Pampas. It’s not a jump or track map: it’s a setting for driving long, open roads through the flat landscape and dirt tracks typical of the country’s interior. It has been out since 2022, and its author has kept it maintained through every major game version.
What you’ll find
- Two towns with houses, gas stations and a camping area.
- Lots of dirt roads and highways with long straights, bumps and hills.
- Industrial areas, an airfield with a dirt runway and hidden trails.
- Custom road signs and Argentine license plates in several styles.
- Night lighting and temperature tuned to the region.
Who it’s for
It’s a great fit if you enjoy long trips in a pickup, truck or classic car, relaxed dirt rallying, or just cruising through an environment that doesn’t look like the US or European maps that ship with the game. It’s also one of the few maps on the repository with a Latin American setting.
Version for 0.39
The July 30, 2026 update fixes the map after the arrival of 0.39, brings back the night lights and adds two new spawn points. A few weeks earlier, the author had removed the streetlights for performance and fixed textures. The author also warns that some streets and roads may feel a bit uneven.

Requirements
- BeamNG.drive 0.39 or later
- About 335 MB of free space for the download
How to install it
- Quick option: in the game's main menu, open Repository, search for Rutas Argentinas and click Subscribe.
- Manual option: download the .zip from the official repository page and don't extract it.
- Copy the .zip to %LOCALAPPDATAamNGBeamNG.drivecurrentmods (create the mods folder if it doesn't exist).
- If you had an older version of the map, delete the old .zip to avoid conflicts.
- Launch the game, go to Freeroam and pick Rutas Argentinas in the map selector.

Common problems
Does it work on 0.39?
Yes. The '0.39 Fix' version from July 30, 2026 was released specifically to fix the map after that game update.
The roads are a bit bouncy. Is something wrong with my install?
No. The author lists it as a known issue: some streets and roads can be a little uneven.
Are there night lights?
Yes. The latest version brings back night lighting, after an earlier update removed the streetlights for performance.
