What this mod does
Argentinean Roads is a map set in the Argentine pampas, by the same author as Rutas Argentinas. Its charm lies in the roads: worn asphalt, potholes and patches that force you to drive carefully and put any car’s suspension to the test.
What’s included
- Three towns, Los Retoños, Villa Rosario and Las Chicharras, connected by a main road.
- A race track.
- Lots of farms and open countryside typical of the pampas plains.
- Custom road signs and streetlights that work at night.
- A large area designed for long drives, for example with trucks.
Who it’s for
If you’re looking for a Latin American map with realistic back roads, this is one of the best on the Repository. Players praise its size, good performance and how fun it is to watch a car bounce after hitting a pothole wrong. If you prefer perfect asphalt, it may wear on you: some feel the road damage is exaggerated, although the author draws on real roads such as Ruta Nacional 151.
Release notes
The “0.39 Fix” version from July 30, 2026, fixes the map after 0.39 came out and improves the lighting. The author has released a fix for each major game version (0.36, 0.38 and 0.39).

How to install it
- Open the Argentinean Roads page on the official BeamNG Repository.
- Click Download or subscribe from the in-game Repository.
- If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into the mods folder inside your user folder.
- If you had a previous version, delete it and clear the cache from the launcher to avoid missing textures.
- Launch the game, start Freeroam and pick Argentinean Roads from the map list.

Common problems
Is it the same map as Rutas Argentinas?
No. It's a different map by the same author, focused on the pampas and run-down back roads.
Does it work in Career mode?
The author doesn't say; a user has asked for it, so use it in Freeroam.
I've seen invisible walls or odd collisions, what should I do?
A user mentioned it on an old version; install the 0.39 Fix and clear the cache if it keeps happening.
