What this mod does

The Cowshed 3+0 by [DMI]20mmNormandy is a free-stall cow barn that holds 80 animals. Its layout resembles today’s dairy barns: the animals rest in stalls and you work along a central alley.

How it works

Food and straw are delivered from the middle of the building, so you just drive the mixer wagon or trailer down the alley. The animals go in and out through the doors at the front, which makes it easy to unload them from the livestock trailer.

Who it’s for

If you have a mid-size dairy farm and the map’s barn is getting too small, it’s a logical step before the giant barns. Version 1.2 fixed buffalo milk loading and the straw trigger, and 1.1 added concrete walls and the fenced variant. It works on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, weighs about 9 MB and doesn’t need any other mods. Leave room in front to maneuver with the livestock trailer.

How to install it

1. Open the game's Mods/ModHub menu (on PC or console) and search for "Cowshed 3+0", or download FS25_cowShed3_0.zip from the official mod page.
2. If you download it manually on PC, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) to Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2025 > mods.
3. Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
4. Buy the barn in the shop, under animal pens (cows), choose the color, walls or fence and place it.
