What this mod does
The JCB TM420S is an articulated telescopic handler: its chassis pivots in the middle like a wheel loader, and it has a telescopic boom that reaches higher than a regular loader. The mod is by RossN Mods, the same team behind the JCB Agri Loadall and the Fastrac 4000 on ModHub.
The machine
- 4.8-liter, 173 hp DieselMAX engine with an 8-speed powershift transmission.
- Shop price: $119,000.
- Automatic load leveling (level lift), animated door and controls, and LED lights.
- You can configure the rim color, the tires (including Michelin Bibload) and the beacons.
- On PC it has interactive cab controls.
What it’s for
It’s very handy for compacting and filling silage bunkers, moving manure, loading tall trailers and stacking bales or pallets. Since it’s articulated, it turns in a tight space, so it works well in narrow yards and sheds.
Updates
Version 1.0.1.3 adjusts the license plate and adds a missing collision on the boom. Earlier versions improved weight distribution, fixed the rear hitch and braking force, and added Michelin tires.

How to install it
- On console: go to the in-game ModHub, search for "JCB TM 420S" and download it.
- On PC/Mac: download it from the in-game ModHub or get FS25_JCB_420S.zip from the official mod page.
- If you download it manually, leave the .zip as is in Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2025/mods.
- Enable the mod in your savegame.
- Buy it in the shop, under telehandlers, and add the attachment you need.

Is it on consoles?
Yes, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as PC/Mac.
How is it different from the JCB Agri Loadall?
The Loadall is a classic rigid-chassis telehandler; the TM420S is articulated, like a wheel loader, and turns in less space.
Do the interactive controls work on console?
No, the author says they're PC only.
