What this mod does
Mediterranean Italy is a European map for Farming Simulator 25 set in the landscape of central and southern Italy: gentle hills, fertile plains, wheat, sunflowers, olive trees and vines. If you’re after a Mediterranean setting similar to the Spanish countryside, it’s one of the closest you’ll find on the official ModHub right now.
What you’ll find on the map
- 62 farmable fields of different sizes, from small plots to get started with little machinery up to large estates.
- A hillside farm with sheds and barns, and an Italian village with a detailed setting.
- Added crops such as alfalfa and silage corn, plus olive groves and vineyards.
- Productions like a dairy, biogas plant, grain mill and an oil mill to press olive oil.
Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if you like savegames with permanent crops (olives and grapes) and want to build production chains instead of just growing grain. The field sizes let you play with both medium tractors and big equipment.
Release notes
Version 1.0.0.1 fixes fields, vines and olive trees that weren’t showing information, a fertilizing display bug and the spawn point for field 100. The map depends on four mods from the ModHub itself (olives, Lizard barns and wood chip production), so it’s best to install all of them before creating your savegame.

Requirements
- Farming Simulator 25 (PC/Mac, PS5 or Xbox Series)
- Required ModHub mods: Olives + Olive Picker, Lizard Cow Barns, Lizard Animal Barns and Wood Chip Production
- About 550 MB of free space for the map alone, plus whatever its dependencies take up
How to install it
- Open Farming Simulator 25 and go to the mods section (ModHub) in the main menu.
- Search for "Mediterranean Italy" and hit download; make sure the four required mods download too.
- On PC/Mac you can also download the .zip from the official ModHub page and copy it, without unzipping it, to Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2025/mods.
- If you install it manually, download and copy the four required mods the same way.
- Start a new savegame and pick Mediterranean Italy in the map selection.
- When creating the savegame, enable the map and its dependencies in the mod list.

Common problems
The map doesn't show up when creating a savegame
The most common cause is that one of the four required mods is missing or the .zip has been unzipped. Check that they're all in the mods folder as .zip files.
Can I load it into a savegame I already have?
No. A new map requires starting a new savegame; existing savegames keep using their original map.
The olive trees or vines don't show any information
That bug was fixed in version 1.0.0.1. Update the mod from the ModHub.
