What this mod does

The Volvo F16 Globetrotter is a semi truck released by GIANTS Software itself, the developer of Farming Simulator, as free official content on the ModHub. The F16 was Volvo’s big truck in the late eighties and nineties, and the tall, roomy Globetrotter cab is one of the most recognizable on European roads from that era.

In-game stats

Power: 470 to 500 hp.
Top speed: 90 km/h.
Price: $102,500 to $120,250, depending on the configuration.
Category: trucks.

What it’s for

A semi truck is the tool for moving large amounts of grain, wood, bales or pallets to faraway selling points. Hook up a tipper semi-trailer, a flatbed or a lowboy to haul machinery. Since it’s official GIANTS content, it fits in with the base game vehicles with no quality issues.

Platforms

Available on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. It’s about 27 MB and doesn’t need any other mods or DLC.

Tip: if you like classic trucks, pair it with a period semi-trailer to keep the look consistent in your savegame.
