Before you download
- Hytale (Early Access) on PC or server, version 0.7 (file LuminescentShields-2.3.1.jar)
- No required dependencies
- Optional: Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby Armor & Weapons, Tax' Metal Legend, Tax' Dragon Legend, Hunta's Expanded Diamonds and Dark Steel Equipments, only for their shields

- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Luminescent Shields in the mod list and save the world settings.
- On a dedicated server, put the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
- In game, look for the glowing shields among the shield recipes; if you want the gem or extra metal ones, install the matching optional mod first.
