- Open the Cape Stardew page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Cape Stardew 1.6, version 7.2.8). You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folders into the Mods folder inside the game folder. If you had an older version with a different folder name, delete it first.
- If you want to play in Spanish, install mardrest's "Cabo Stardew" translation following its instructions.
- Launch the game with SMAPI and check that there are no red errors in the console.
