What this mod does
High Force is a network of country roads in the North Pennines, in northern England, which its author sums up as a route of about 30 miles (close to 48 km). It’s made by Brun, the same modder behind Donington Park, and it’s one of the most downloaded tracks on OverTake, with over 338,000 downloads and a 4.9 out of 5 rating.
What’s included
- Five variants depending on the starting point: High Force Hotel, Middleton-in-Teesdale, Stanhope, St. John’s Chapel and Langdon Beck.
- Starting slots for hotlap and multiplayer: 60 at the hotel, 22 in Middleton, 17 in Stanhope, 28 in St. John’s and 15 in Langdon Beck.
- Counterclockwise timing on every variant.
- Custom Shaders Patch config with ambient occlusion and grass.
What it doesn’t have
It has no AI or replay cameras: it’s meant for driving solo or with friends on a server. The author warns that the pit crew member in hotlap mode can’t be removed.
Tips
If you had an earlier version, delete any highforce.ini file from the CSP configs folder to avoid conflicts. The roadwork cones and signs can be removed by editing models.ini. Some users cut down the dust by setting DIRT_ADDITIVE to 0 in surfaces.ini.

How to install it
- Go to the High Force page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the file (about 440 MB).
- Drag the file onto the Content Manager window and click Install, or copy the track folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- If you had an earlier version, delete any highforce.ini in CSP's track configs folder.
- Pick the variant based on the starting village and head out in practice or on a multiplayer server.

Common problems
Can I race against the AI?
No. The author says it has no AI or cameras; it's a track for free roaming or multiplayer.
How many cars fit online?
It depends on the variant: up to 60 at High Force Hotel and between 15 and 28 on the others.
I get a loading error that mentions highforce
Delete the old highforce.ini files from the CSP configs folder; the author warns about that conflict.
