What this mod does

Potrero de los Funes is one of the most eye-catching circuits in South America: a layout along the Avenida del Circuito, in Argentina’s San Luis province, that loops around a reservoir surrounded by hills. This version was made by sylence01 (Tibor Beke) with Race Track Builder (RTB) and Blender, and it’s the one to grab if you want the track straight from its author.

What’s included

  • Two selectable layouts.
  • 32 pit boxes, enough for full grids.
  • Custom Shaders Patch config with track lighting.
  • Surroundings with the lake and hills around the circuit.

Who it’s for

If you like fast street circuits with walls close by and changes of pace, you’ll like this one. It works well with Argentinian TC touring cars or GTs. It’s more modest in detail than the big paid tracks: reviews criticize the trees and hillside for looking a bit sparse up close.

Version

Version 1.3, from April 2021, fixed collisions on the tire walls and the grip in some areas, rebuilt the surroundings and raised the pit count to 32. After that it got new tree textures and lighting. It hasn’t been updated again.

Common problems

My car sticks to a wall or goes flying

That happened in version 1.1. Version 1.3 fixed the tire wall collisions; make sure you have the latest.

Is it the same as Rainmaker_87's version 2.4?

No. Version 2.4 is another user's update based on this track; here we link the version published by its original author.

Do I need Custom Shaders Patch?

It isn't mandatory, but the lighting config is designed for it.
