Tour de Corse: Muracciole-Vezzani for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Muracciole-Vezzani is one of the classic Tour de Corse special stages. This mod by jcrr, a French author who specializes in rally stages, recreates the first half of the Muracciole-Pont de Noceta stage: 10.5 km of narrow, bumpy asphalt that crosses the Col de Morello and ends at the famous Vezzani hairpin.

• Roadside textures made from photos taken on the real road and placed where they belong, with no repetition.
• 16 starting positions and working AI to race against.
• Hand-crafted vegetation and details, with a heavy file but no performance drops according to the testers.

Who it’s for

For anyone who wants to practice real Corsican asphalt with a Group B, a WRC car or a classic. It has one of the best ratings on OverTake among rally stages. The author recommends turning off penalties, because a slight off-track moment can invalidate your time.

Version

Version 1.1 (October 2024) fixes some misnamed trees that were creating invisible walls. This version doesn’t work well with Sol; the author says he would try to adapt the textures later on.

Requirements

• Assetto Corsa for PC
• About 504 MB of free space for the download
• Free OverTake.gg account to download
• Sol turned off (the author warns it isn't compatible)

How to install it

1. Go to the stage's page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file (about 504 MB).
3. Drag it into the Content Manager window and click install, or copy the track folder to assettocorsa/content/tracks.
4. Turn off cutting penalties in the session options.
5. If you use Sol, turn it off for this stage.
6. Pick a rally car and start driving; you can add AI opponents.
