Complete pack of truck & trailer templates (ATS) for American Truck Simulator

What this mod does

Carsmaniac‘s Complete pack of truck & trailer templates doesn’t change anything in the game on its own: it’s the starting point for creating your own paint jobs (skins) in American Truck Simulator. It brings together the templates for every truck and trailer in a single pack. If you also paint for ETS2, the same author has the ETS2 template pack.

What’s included

• Every ATS truck and trailer.
• The trailers from every trailer DLC.
• The parts from every tuning DLC.
• Accessory templates, usually 2048 or 1024 pixels on the long side.

Formats

Each template comes in PSD and PNG. Trucks are 4096 × 4096 pixels, and trailers are 4096 × 2048 or 8192 × 1024. The PSDs split each part into layers where it makes sense, which makes it easier to paint just the hood, the cab or the trailer sides.

Who it’s for

For anyone who wants to make their own company livery or a custom paint job. You’ll need an image editor that opens PSD files and, afterwards, you’ll have to package the paint job as a mod; the author has a video that explains the whole process.

Version

The pack is complete up to ATS 1.59. Trucks and trailers added later aren’t included.

Requirements

• An image editor that opens PSD files (or use the PNGs)
• About 971 MB of space for the download
• American Truck Simulator to test the paint jobs

How to install it

1. Open the pack's page on TruckyMods (or the author's thread on the SCS forum).
2. Download the version 1.59 file (971 MB).
3. Extract it to a working folder, outside the game's mod folder.
4. Open the PSD or PNG template for the truck or trailer you want to paint.
5. Design your paint job on each part's layers and export the texture.
6. Package the paint job as a mod by following the author's video.
