After downloading

Copy the .scs file into Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
Open the Mod Manager and enable the mod.
Move it above any truck or trailer mods, as the author asks.
With a reefer of your own, use the trailer menu (F7) to turn the refrigeration unit on or off.
