Special Multi-Axle Trailers – Ownable [BETA] for Euro Truck Simulator 2

What this mod does

Special Multi-Axle Trailers – Ownable, by Kwstakis, turns the multi-axle lowloaders from the Special Transport DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 into trailers you can buy and own. It uses SCS’s original models and only changes game definitions, without redistributing any models or textures.

Included configurations

• Lowloader 4+2 (6 axles).
• Lowloader 4+2 Extended (6 axles, longer version).
• Lowloader 5+3 (8 axles).
• Lowbed 7+3 (10 axles).

You buy them at the trailer dealer, under the standard trailers. They keep the stock look: the truck, paint job and accessories shown in the screenshots aren’t included, and neither is the Blade Hauler.

Why it’s a beta

The author has tested that they show up in the dealer, the configurator, purchasing and driving empty, but hasn’t yet checked which jobs appear or how they handle when loaded. It doesn’t unlock escorted special transport jobs for owned trailers, and it doesn’t change traffic, escorts or special routes. Prices and lengths are provisional.

Precautions

Back up your save before trying it. Because of their size, these lowloaders may not fit in some loading areas, garages or narrow streets. Tested on ETS2 1.61.1.0s 64-bit; if you find bugs, the author asks for your configuration, version and game.log.txt.

Requirements

• Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.61
• Special Transport DLC
• Steam account
• Save backup (recommended by the author)

How to install it

1. Open the "Special Multi-Axle Trailers - Ownable [BETA]" page on Steam Workshop and click "Subscribe".
2. Launch Euro Truck Simulator 2 and wait for Steam to finish downloading the mod.
3. Open the Mod Manager for your profile and enable "Special Multi-Axle Trailers - Ownable [BETA]".
4. Back up your profile before loading it.
5. Buy the lowloader at the trailer dealer, in the standard trailers section.
