What this mod does
Gnadenthal recreates the town of the same name in southern Manitoba, Canada, although Iron Thunder has changed quite a few things so it works better as a savegame. It’s a prairie map built for farming big: lots of fields, lots of different crops, and production chains that make the most of that variety.
What’s included
- More than 90 fields and more than 40 houses, each with its own plot and a place to sleep.
- 15 new crops: alfalfa, clover, rye, triticale, millet, spelt, mustard, lavender, poppy, flax, buckwheat, lentils, pinto beans, chickpeas and flowering cover crop.
- 6 productions: poppy oil, buckwheat flour, lentils, beans and chickpeas, or fabric from flax straw, among others.
- Refills for fertilizer, lime, salt and other supplies at the dealership.
- Two rivers and two ponds to fill water tankers, 50 collectibles and 48 ground textures for painting.
Who it’s for
It’s a good fit if you want a large North American map with big fields where you can use heavy machinery, and you like experimenting with crops the base game doesn’t have. If you’d rather have something simple to start with, there are smaller options.
Versions
Version 1.2.0.0 added Precision Farming compatibility for the custom crops and cotton harvesters adapted to make lavender bales. Version 1.3.0.0 brought multi-angle terrain, stubble destruction and new productions, and 1.3.0.1 fixed storing and selling pinto beans and chickpea growth.

How to install it
- On console: open the ModHub in the game, search for Gnadenthal and download it.
- On PC/Mac: go to the official ModHub page and download FS25_Gnadenthal_crossplay.zip.
- Copy the .zip, unextracted, into Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2025/mods.
- Start the game and create a new savegame, choosing Gnadenthal as the map.
- If you were already playing an earlier version, check the changelog before continuing with the same savegame.

Common problems
Where do I sell the new crops?
The map has its own productions that process them, like poppy oil or legume flour. Since 1.3.0.1 you can store and sell pinto beans.
Does it work with Precision Farming?
Yes, since version 1.2.0.0 the map's custom crops are compatible with Precision Farming.
How do I make lavender bales?
The map includes modified cotton harvesters that collect lavender into bales.
