What this mod does
Lizard Calf Huts, by MrHector, adds the classic calf huts (igloos) for raising calves outdoors. The calves stay sheltered from the cold in winter and, once they grow up, you move them to a cow barn.
Models
- Single: 1 calf, $500 and $5 a day in upkeep. Food 320 l, straw 360 l, water 80 l.
- Group: up to 5 calves, $1,500 and $15 a day. Food 1,600 l, straw 1,800 l, water 400 l.
- Non-functional decorative variants of each hut.
How they work
They work like any cow pen: food, water and straw are delivered by trailer, bales, pallets, shovel or straw blower. The single hut’s inputs are at the front, so you can line several up in a row; on the group hut you can put the feeder and water trough on the left or right. To remove manure, move the fence aside, drive in the shovel or the trailer and press R. The author recommends a wheelbarrow or a skid steer.
Keep in mind
Here the animals only produce manure, no milk or slurry, and they take quite a bit of daily work. To place lots of huts, the author recommends the More Animal Husbandries Possible (64) mod. It’s on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2.

How to install it
- Open the game's Mods/ModHub menu (on PC or console) and search for "Lizard Calf Huts", or download FS25_mrhCalfHuts.zip from the official mod page.
- If you download it manually on PC, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) to Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2025 > mods.
- Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
- Buy the single or group hut in the shop, under animal pens, and place it.
- Bring in the calves and supply food, water and straw at the marked points.

Common problems
Is it on consoles?
Yes, the ModHub offers it on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as PC/Mac.
Do they produce milk?
No. They only produce manure; milk comes once you move them to the cow barn.
How many calves fit?
1 in the single hut and up to 5 in the group hut.
