What this mod does
The Olive Harvest Trailer simulates the traditional manual olive harvest still seen in many small olive groves in Spain: no harvesters, just a trailer next to the tree and wooden crates. It’s by hornFarmerModding, the author of the Tuscan map Monteriggioni.
How it works
- You need to unfold it before working; harvesting is done on its right side.
- The olives drop straight into wooden crates.
- Capacity: 1,500 liters. Price: $2,500. In-game brand: Lizard.
- It works with base-game olive trees and with those from the Olives + Olive Picker mod.
What you should know
The author himself warns that most production chains and selling points don’t accept olives in crates. Before selling them or taking them to the olive mill, you’ll have to transfer them to a trailer or a front loader bucket. It’s slower than a tree shaker, but that’s the point of the mod: working your olive grove at a relaxed pace with very little investment.
Availability
It’s available on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2, weighs just over 2 MB and doesn’t require other mods. If you have a large olive grove, combine it with the umbrella shaker from Olives + Olive Picker and save this trailer for small fields or for the start of your savegame.

Requirements

- Planted olive trees (base game or from the Olives + Olive Picker mod)
- A small tractor and a trailer or bucket to empty the crates
- About 3 MB of free space
How to install it
- On console: open the in-game ModHub, search for "Olive Harvest Trailer" and download it.
- On PC/Mac: use the in-game ModHub or download FS25_oliveHarvestTrailer.zip from the official mod page.
- If you download it manually, put the .zip in Documents/My Games/FarmingSimulator2025/mods without unzipping it.
- Enable the mod and buy the trailer in the shop, in the olives section.
- Unfold it next to the olive tree and harvest from the right side; then transfer the olives from the crates to a trailer or a bucket.

Does it need the olive tree mod?
No. It works with base-game olive trees and also with those from Olives + Olive Picker.
Can I sell the crates directly?
Almost never: most production chains and selling points don't accept olives in crates. Transfer them to a trailer or a bucket first.
