What this mod does
The PlanET Modular BGA is a biogas plant built from parts. Instead of a fixed plant, you buy each module separately and place it in free build mode (B key by default), so you can start small and keep expanding.
How it works
- Every plant needs a bunker (input for silage, manure or pulp) and a fermenter (100,000 to 400,000 liters), which produces raw methane.
- The liquid digester takes slurry directly, with no fermenter beforehand.
- The leftovers go to a central 2,000,000-liter digestate storage, to sell or spread on your fields.
- The small and medium generators turn the methane into electricity; the large one and the selling module purify it and sell it as methane.
- There are electricity and methane distributors to supply other productions and to refuel.
Approximate prices
Bunkers range from $56,000 to $125,000 and fermenters from $165,000 to $295,000. Since version 1.0.0.2 the bunker also accepts clover, alfalfa, grass, straw, potatoes and sugar beets through converters.
Tips
The game caps productions at 60; if that’s not enough, the author recommends the More Productions Possible mod. Try it in a new savegame first. Available on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2.

Requirements

- About 33 MB of free space
- Silage, manure, pulp or slurry to feed the plant
How to install it
- Open the in-game Mods/ModHub menu (on PC or console) and search for "PlanET Modular BGA", or download FS25_PlanET_BGA_Modular.zip from the official page.
- If you download it manually on PC, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2025 > mods.
- Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
- Buy at least one bunker and one fermenter and place them in free build mode (B key on PC).
- Set the bunker to unload into the fermenter and check that the production lines are active.

Common problems
Is it on console?
Yes, the ModHub offers it on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as PC/Mac.
Which modules are essential?
A bunker and a fermenter. The liquid digester is the exception: it runs on slurry alone.
Can I sell the raw methane?
Yes, from the modules, but with impurities you earn less than by purifying it.
Is there a production limit?
The game allows 60 in total; the author suggests More Productions Possible to raise it.
