What this mod does

The Small Heating Plant by Redphoenix is a small heating plant from the German brand Heizomat, a maker of biomass boilers. According to the author, it’s designed to heat a handful of nearby buildings and, thanks to its slow consumption and small capacity, it’s a perfect fit for small farms.

What it’s for

It’s mainly a building for atmosphere and management: it adds the typical boiler house you see next to many farms in Central Europe and gives you somewhere to use the fuel you produce. Its small size lets you place it next to the house or barns without taking up much room.

Tips

The official mod page doesn’t specify which fuel it uses: check it in the productions menu when you place it. Since it burns three quarters of its tank a day, you’ll want to refill it often.

It works on PC/Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.

How to install it

1. On console: open the ModHub from the game menu, search for "Small Heating Plant" and download it.
2. On PC/Mac: download it from the in-game ModHub or get FS25_smallHeatingPlant.zip from the official mod page.
3. If you download it manually, copy the .zip (don't unzip it) into Documents > My Games > FarmingSimulator2025 > mods.
4. Enable the mod when you load or create your savegame.
5. Place it from construction mode, under productions, and check in its menu which fuel it needs.
