Download Books and Papers for Hytale

You're leaving Holymod for CurseForge, the mod's official source. First, check you have everything so it works the first time.

Before you download

  • Hytale (Early Access) on PC, version 0.6 (file Books and Papers 1.2.2)
  • No dependencies: doesn't need any other mods
  • For the player-to-player mailbox, everyone needs to be on the same server with the mod

After downloading

  1. If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into the mods folder: on Windows, %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
  2. Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Books and Papers in the mod list and save the world settings.
  3. On a dedicated server, place the file in the server's mods folder and restart it.
  4. In your game, craft a book or a letter and use it to write; place a mailbox or a lectern to send or display your texts.
