- If you download it manually, copy the file as is, without unzipping it, into your mods folder: on Windows %APPDATA%\Hytale\UserData\Mods.
- Open Hytale, right-click the world, check Gone Fishing in the mod list and save the world settings.
- In-game, craft the rod at the workbench with 2 sticks and 3 linen scraps.
- Equip it, right-click while looking at water and right-click again when the bobber sinks.
