- Install Custom Tokens, Generic Mod Config Menu and, if you want, Lasting Conversation Topics (all on Nexus).
- Open the Immersive Family page on Nexus Mods, go to the Files tab and click Manual download on the main file (Immersive Family (Portrait Version) or (Speech Bubble Version) 2.2.7, only one of the two). You need a free Nexus account to download.
- Unzip the .zip outside the game folder and move the resulting folder into the Mods folder, inside the game folder.
- Before loading your save, check the settings (children's names and what they call you) in Generic Mod Config Menu.
- If you already have older kids, talk to Robin first so the crib is available, as the author explains.
