Assetto Corsa Rally is a rally sim developed by Supernova Games Studios with technical support from Kunos Simulazioni and published by 505 Games. It launched in Early Access on Steam on November 13, 2025 and, as of October 3, 2026, it’s PC only: there’s no PS5, Xbox or PS4 version on sale or with a date. The studio has said it’s working on consoles. It doesn’t have mods as such: since 0.6 it lets you create your own liveries, and the studio presents this as a first step toward broader mod support.
What Assetto Corsa Rally is
It’s the first rally game in the Assetto Corsa series. It uses real laser-scanned stages, professional co-driver pace notes, dynamic weather and physical damage. It’s developed by Supernova Games Studios, with technical support from Kunos (the makers of Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa EVO), and published by 505 Games.
When it was announced in October 2025, the studio laid out the goal for the full release: around 120 km of stages across ten special stages and five countries, with about thirty cars. The Steam page mentions more than 30 cars, new locations, more modes, full VR support and a rally school.
Current content
The official website lists 18 cars, from classics like the Lancia Stratos, the Fiat 131 Abarth and the Lancia 037 to modern Rally2 cars like the Hyundai i20N and the Škoda Fabia RS. The stages are in Wales (gravel), Alsace (tarmac), Monte Carlo (Col de Turini and Sisteron) and Greece (Loutraki and Elatia), and there’s an ice circuit in Livigno.

Assetto Corsa Rally on PS5, Xbox and PS4
There’s no console version on sale and no announced date. Here’s what we know:
- In October 2025, game director Irvin Zonca told the specialist press that they’re already working on consoles and producing weekly test builds for them, although PC is the priority.
- No platforms have been officially named. The press assumes they’ll be PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, based on what Kunos did with Assetto Corsa Competizione.
- There’s no mention of PS4 or Xbox One, and given its PC requirements (below) it’s very unlikely.
- In its September 24, 2026 report, Digital Bros said the game is still in Early Access on Steam only.
Any website offering to «download Assetto Corsa Rally for PS5» or console keys is fake.
Price
On Steam Spain, the base price is €29.99 (checked on October 3, 2026). There’s also an official bundle with Assetto Corsa EVO. According to Steam, the price may change between Early Access and the final release. Buy it on Steam: key reseller sites aren’t official stores and may give you keys from another region or that end up revoked.
Mods in Assetto Corsa Rally
Right now there’s no mod support like in the original Assetto Corsa (community cars or stages). What exists is official and limited:
- Since 0.6, an in-game custom livery editor, with decals, colors and paint properties.
- The official 0.6 announcement describes it as «the first step toward broader mod support,» with more to come in future updates, but no details or dates.
If you want rally with mods today, the original Assetto Corsa has community stages like Arrabassada or Tajo Hillclimb, which you install as explained in the guide to installing mods in Assetto Corsa.

They’re quite a bit more demanding than those of the original Assetto Corsa. VR isn’t available in Early Access; it’s planned for the full release.
Roadmap and 1.0 release date
On Steam, the studio says it aims to have 1.0 ready within 18 months of the start of Early Access (November 2025). On September 24, 2026, Digital Bros specified that the full versions of Assetto Corsa Rally and Assetto Corsa EVO will arrive in the second half of its 2026/27 fiscal year, that is, between January and June 2027. There’s no exact day, and consoles, if they come, will be separate.
