What this mod does
The Arrabassada is the mountain road that links Barcelona with Sant Cugat del Vallès through the Tibidabo area. This mod recreates it for Assetto Corsa with textures made from photographs of the location, so the route starts out looking fully urban and ends up as a mountain road full of linked corners.
What the free version includes
- A route of about 5.25 km with two gas stations, viewpoints and parking areas.
- 40 spawn points (pit boxes), enough to drive with friends.
- Working traffic lights and a night mode.
- Grass and rain effects (Grass FX and Rain FX), TV cameras and optimized LODs.
The free download comes with the Freeroam layout, designed for driving without a timer and enjoying the road. The uphill, downhill and rally layouts, plus AI traffic, are part of the full version that the author sells separately through Virtual Recreations Studio.
Who it’s for
It’s a very appealing option if you like real mountain roads and want to drive a well-known Catalan stretch in road or sports cars. It works best with Custom Shaders Patch installed, since the rain and grass effects depend on it.
Version
The current version is 1.1, from December 2022, which fixed the AI line, added cameras in both directions and tweaked some LODs.

Requirements
- Assetto Corsa for PC

How to install it
- Go to the mod's page on OverTake.gg and log in with your free account.
- Download the compressed file (about 234 MB).
- Drag the file into the Content Manager window and click install, or extract it and copy the track folder to assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- In Content Manager, go to Drive and choose Arrabassada from the track list.
- Select the Freeroam layout and head out in practice mode.
- If you want rain or night driving, enable Custom Shaders Patch and set the time and weather.

Common problems
I only see the Freeroam layout
That's normal in the free version. The uphill, downhill and rally layouts belong to the author's paid full version.
Does it have traffic?
AI traffic is part of the full version. The free one is designed for free driving.
I can't see the rain or the 3D grass
Those effects require Custom Shaders Patch installed and enabled in Content Manager.
Is it in Tarragona?
No. It's the road from Barcelona to Sant Cugat via Tibidabo, in the Collserola hills.
