What this mod does

Karting de Vimianzo – Montecalo is a kart track in the province of A Coruña (Galicia, Spain). This mod by monoconperiodico (Álvaro Antelo) aims to be as true as possible to the real track, and the author has announced more Galician karting tracks.

What’s new in 2.0

Version 2.0, published on October 25, 2026, is a complete overhaul based on real driving data and LiDAR scans:

• Historic layout with the track’s old design, as a secondary, less polished option.
• Asphalt smoothed using telemetry to remove harsh bumps, crests and dips in turns 2 and 3 and in the chicane, while keeping the real elevation.
• Redone curbs that follow the surface and cleaner transitions between asphalt, concrete and runoff areas.
• New grass and asphalt textures based on aerial photos.
• Revised lighting and night mode, with new streetlights on the bridge and the street.

The pit lane and grid haven’t changed, so your setups and liveries should keep working.

Requirements

Night lighting needs Custom Shaders Patch. You install it by unzipping the file into the Assetto Corsa content/tracks folder. It’s best driven with a kart mod. The author welcomes feedback and reports of bumps.

How to install it

1. Open the Karting Vimianzo – Montecalo page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the version 2.0 file.
3. Unzip it into the Assetto Corsa content/tracks folder.
4. Install Custom Shaders Patch if you want to drive at night.
5. Pick the current or historic layout and head out with a kart.
