Road to Lake Louise (200 km free roam) for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Road to Lake Louise is a free roam driving map of about 200 km set in the Canadian Rockies. It’s fictional, made by Jeenette and free, with more than 50,000 downloads. Version 1.0, from September 2022, is the project’s final version.

What’s included

• Highways and mountain back roads.
• An oval, a circuit, a rally stage and a drag strip.
• Night and rain.
• In 1.0: two new tracks, buildings and AI lines for servers.

Traffic

There’s no AI traffic for single-player. Version 1.0 added lines for running AI on online servers, and the author points you to the OEM Discord community for group drives. If you set up your own server, copy the track’s AI lines into its AI folder.

Who it’s for

For anyone who wants to take it easy driving through mountain scenery, as an alternative to LA Canyons or Pacific Coast.

Good to know

It has a rating of 4 from 12 reviews. Two users got a track not found error when installing it, and another describes it as rough around the edges. Make sure the folder is complete in content/tracks.

Requirements

• Assetto Corsa for PC
• About 400 MB of free space
• Free OverTake.gg account to download

How to install it

1. Go to the Road to Lake Louise page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file (about 397 MB).
3. Drag it into Content Manager or copy the folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
4. If you get the track not found error, check that the folder is complete and in the right place.
5. Pick the layout and head out in practice mode to explore it freely.
