What this mod does
Deutschlandring recreates a real 1930s circuit that was never finished: it was meant for the 1940 German Grand Prix, which never took place. Fat-Alfie, author of Feldbergring and Thomson Road, built it on the public road that exists today, at about 10 km long. It has a perfect rating of 5 from 245 reviews.

- AI racing and 30 grid slots, with an AI line by Andy-R.
- Hotlap and time attack.
- A physics mesh of about 600,000 triangles with new and old, bumpier asphalt.
- 43,200 trees, 34 plant types, spectators and animals.
- Camera sets 2 and 3 by norbs.
How it was made
The author modeled the road from topographic maps and videos, because there was no LiDAR data. The surroundings are semi-fictional: some buildings are inspired by Reims-Gueux and the houses come from his own Feldbergring.
Requirements
It comes ready for Custom Shaders Patch, which also lets you race at night with low lighting. For the unpatched game it includes alternative textures. It also comes with files to remove or add the spectators.
Tips
It’s ideal for vintage open-wheelers and sports cars, like the Kunos Lotus 49 or Maserati 250F.

How to install it
- Go to the Deutschlandring page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the file (about 200 MB).
- Drag it into Content Manager or copy the folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- If you don't use Custom Shaders Patch, apply the textures from VANILLA TEXTURES.zip.
- If you want to remove the spectators, use NO PEOPLE.zip; PEOPLE.zip puts them back.
