Fonteny for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Fonteny is a fictional circuit laid out on real roads in the Morvan Regional Nature Park in France: a 26 km loop with 83 corners. Fat-Alfie, the author of the Feldbergring, found the route on maps, started it as a simple ribbon of asphalt with grass on either side and ended up turning it into one of the most detailed tracks in the community, with a 4.99 out of 5 rating from over 430 reviews.

What’s included

• Normal and reverse layouts (added in 1.1), for both racing and Track Day.
• 40 grid slots in race mode and 60 spawn points in Track Day (multiplayer only).
• Two camera sets and a layer that shows the name of each section.
• A PDF track guide inside the game folder.
• About 100,000 trees, 1,000 buildings, 200 vehicles and varied wildlife and vegetation.

Who it’s for

It works with both vintage and modern cars, according to reviews, which praise the scenery, the flow and the visual quality; some compare it to the Nordschleife for its length and variety. A tip from users: set the sun to late afternoon to enjoy the light through the trees.

Installation

Just copy the fonteny folder from the archive into the game’s tracks folder, or drag the file into Content Manager.

How to install it

1. Go to the Fonteny page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download version 1.1 (about 363 MB).
3. Drag the file into Content Manager or copy the fonteny folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
4. Choose the normal or reverse direction.
5. Check the PDF guide in the track folder to learn the sections.
