What this mod does
Spa-Francorchamps 2022 isn’t a new track but an update of Assetto Corsa’s official Spa to the changes the Belgian circuit got in 2022 so it could host motorcycle races again. It’s made by guigui0256, who started from Johnr777’s remaster work and had his help and resources.
What changes
- More room before the guardrails, the return of the gravel runoffs, an alternative corner at Speakers’ Corner and a new grandstand at Raidillon. For cars, the layout is the same.
- 47 pit boxes.
- New textures for trees, pines and asphalt, plus custom grandstands and marshal posts.
- Working LED flag and start panels, TV screens and clock tower.
- Revamped pit lane with lighting and ambient sound, plus race-day PA announcements.
- Compatible with GrassFX and RainFX.
Installation
Custom Shaders Patch is required. You install it by extracting the content and extension folders into the game’s root folder, over the original Spa folder, so the author recommends backing up that folder first and deleting any previous spa/extension. It may overwrite other Spa mods.
Keep in mind
Since it replaces files from the original Spa, it may cause problems on servers running the Kunos version. A few users say the LED panels didn’t work for them or that the textures look too saturated.

How to install it
- Back up the assettocorsa/content/tracks/spa folder.
- Delete the spa/extension folder if it exists.
- Go to the mod page on OverTake.gg, log in and download version 1.03 (about 442 MB).
- Extract the content and extension folders into the Assetto Corsa root folder and agree to overwrite.
- Load the game's Spa with CSP enabled.

Common problems
Is it a separate track?
No. It replaces files from Kunos' original Spa, which is why you should make a backup.
Can I race online on servers with the regular Spa?
It may cause problems since the files are different; restore your backup if you need to.
Does the layout change?
Not for cars; the changes are to the surroundings, runoffs and grandstands.
