What this mod does

The Feldbergring was a public-road circuit in Germany’s Taunus range, used from 1950 to 1954. Fat-Alfie recreates the last version raced there: 11.6 km with 280 meters of elevation change. With nearly 500 reviews averaging 4.99 out of 5, it’s one of the highest-rated mods on the whole site.

What’s included

  • 24 pit boxes plus practice, hotlap, race and time attack modes.
  • Two camera sets.
  • A 340,000-triangle physical road mesh.
  • 40,125 hand-placed trees, no tree walls, and 28 types of plants.
  • Ambient shadows on most trackside objects.

Who it’s for

It’s designed mainly for vintage cars, although the author says it works well with modern ones too. Reviews praise the visuals, the elevation changes, the asphalt and the forest section; some even enjoy it in a modern sedan. The only notable criticism is that the road is wider than the historic one.

Credits

Hal4000 created the track sections and several testers helped polish it. If you like it, the same author later released Fonteny, a 26 km route on French roads with the same level of detail.

Unofficial fan-made mod. All track, place, event and brand names shown belong to their respective owners; neither the author nor Holymod is affiliated with them.
