What this mod does
Sebring is Florida’s legendary endurance track, laid out on an old airfield and famous for its bumpy asphalt and its 12 Hours. MadBrain’s version has been out since 2017 and has been updated up to version 1.2 from February 2022; it has over 114,000 downloads and a 4.61 out of 5 rating.
What’s included
- Custom Shaders Patch support for grass, lighting and rain.
- Light garlands that only turn on at night, set up in the extension.ini file.
- A deliberately limited number of pit boxes: the author explains that adding more causes big FPS drops.
Status
The author himself warns that this version isn’t finished and that improvements will keep coming. Before installing 1.2 you have to completely delete the version 1.1 folder.
Reviews
Many users consider it the best free version of Sebring for Assetto Corsa and point out that it’s the author’s own work. Criticism points to asphalt that looks too bright (one review suggests lowering LIT_MULT to 0.4 in the config), a surface that feels too smooth, missing collision on some tire barriers and lenient track limits between turns 15 and 16. The author replies to comments and takes them into account.

How to install it
- If you had version 1.1, delete its entire folder.
- Go to the Sebring 2021 page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download version 1.2 (about 159 MB).
- Drag the file onto the Content Manager window and click Install, or copy the track folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- Enable CSP to see the grass, rain and night lights.

Is it finished?
