What this mod does

Hillclimb Arona recreates the climb from Arona to La Escalona, in southern Tenerife (Canary Islands), one of the mountain roads of Canary Islands motorsport. It’s made by modder Cranck and has more than 75,000 downloads, with a rating of 4.67 out of 5.

• A route of about 4,400 meters.
• Bumpy asphalt, just like the real road.
• 30 pit boxes, so you can start with lots of cars.
• TV cameras for replays.

Version

Version 2.0, from June 2019, fixed small details from the first version, released in June 2018. It’s about 385 MB.

What users say

Reviews highlight how closely it resembles the real road, something people who know it especially appreciate. The official screenshots use a Porsche GT3 Rally Cup, so it works well with tarmac rally and hill climb cars.

Tips

It’s a hill climb: the usual approach is to race against the clock in practice or hotlap. Pair it with other Spanish hill climbs already released, like Pico Veleta, Santo Emiliano or Viladrau-Montseny, to put together a hill climb championship.

How to install it

1. Go to the Hillclimb Arona page on OverTake.gg and log in.
2. Download the file (about 385 MB).
3. Drag it into Content Manager and install it, or copy the folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
4. Pick a rally or hill climb car and head out in practice or hotlap.
