The Evo Triangle for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

The Evo Triangle is a loop of fast roads in Wales, famous among British enthusiasts as the place where Evo magazine tested its cars. Frank1463 recreates it at about 20 miles (32 km), with almost 80,000 downloads.

What’s included

• Two layouts: clockwise and counterclockwise.
• Working AI on both.
• Track cameras; the counterclockwise layout includes the dTV 2 and dTV 3 cameras by dodz27.
• Track map and racing line.

What’s new in 1.2

• Collision walls along the whole route.
• 3D grass and more countryside objects.
• Separate road mesh with bumps.
• Slightly less grip on the grass and a new gravel texture.
• Tree tweaks to improve shadows.

How it was made

The author built it with Race Track Builder, the tool by Brendon Pywell, whom he thanks for his help.

Tips

It’s a very fast road with little runoff: start with a powerful but manageable road car and learn the reference points before pushing. Racing the AI in both directions is a good way to memorize it.

How to install it

1. Go to The Evo Triangle page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the file (about 126 MB).
3. Drag it into Content Manager and install it, or copy the folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
4. Pick the clockwise or counterclockwise direction and head out on track.
