What this mod does

Goodwood Circuit is the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester, England. Its author, mantasisg, built it from LiDAR data of the area, with no guesswork, and it replaces his old Goodwood. It has a rating of 4.95 out of 5 from more than 150 ratings.

What’s included

• Main layout, very bumpy and full of undulations, just like the real one.
• Fake Wet variant, which simulates a wet track; the author warns that it’s very slippery.
• Improved AI in the pits, the chicane and the start.
• Cameras by Norbs.

Which cars

It’s designed for Goodwood Revival and Members’ Meeting style racing, with pre-1970 cars. The author warns that some cars that never raced there may not fit well. The official screenshots use the Kunos Alfa Romeo GTA and Ford GT40.

Status

Version 0.99 dates from March 2018. The author planned to revise objects and textures, add details and optimize it. One fix added the missing pit surface on the main layout, which affected online sessions.

Tips

Try the dry layout first with a light classic; Fake Wet is very demanding.

Requirements

How to install it

1. Go to the Goodwood Circuit page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the file (about 116 MB).
3. Drag it into Content Manager and install it, or copy the folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
4. Pick the main layout or Fake Wet and a classic car.
