The best Spanish tracks for Assetto Corsa are free mods: Jerez, Jarama, Sevilla Circuit and Madrid’s Madring, while the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya comes officially with a DLC. If you’re after roads, there are rally stages like the Coll de la Teixeta and hillclimbs like Pico Veleta or Sa Calobra. Below you’ll find the 13 layouts and 2 Spanish cars in our directory for the 2014 Assetto Corsa, with what each one needs.
Before you install: CSP, Content Manager and downloads
- Custom Shaders Patch (CSP). Almost every layout recommends it for grass, rain or night. It’s listed as a requirement by the Citroën C15 D, the Madring and Pico Veleta, which also wants GrassFX enabled and a weather mod with rain. Jerez works without it, and the mod pages for Jarama, the Tajo and the SEAT León TCR don’t ask for it.
- Content Manager. It makes installing and choosing layouts easier. Watch out for two exceptions: Sevilla Circuit is installed by hand, without dragging the file, and the Ermita de Sant Antoni asks you to copy two specific folders by hand.
- OverTake.gg account. Almost all the downloads are there and require a free account. Sa Calobra is the exception: it’s only downloadable from its author’s website.
If it’s your first time, start with how to install mods in Assetto Corsa.
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is already official
You don’t need any mod to race at Montmeló. According to its Steam page, Kunos’s Dream Pack 2 DLC, released on October 8, 2015, adds the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya with two layouts, GP and MotoGP. It’s not in the base game: you need that DLC. More details in Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition.
Spanish circuits
Circuito de Jerez
The Formula 1 and MotoGP Grand Prix circuit, built by alex meyer because he couldn’t find any version for the game. It has two layouts, GP (4.428 km) and Moto (4.423 km), 35 pit boxes, working AI, start lights, dynamic rubber on the asphalt and TV cameras.
Requirements: it doesn’t need CSP or other mods. Online, it’s best not to go over 34 cars. It’s version 1.0, from June 2017, and some players point out excessive bumps and elevation differences from the real circuit.
Circuito del Jarama
The Madrid circuit that hosted the Spanish F1 Grand Prix. This version was made directly for Assetto Corsa by its author, jasoca1215, who presented it as his first track. People who know the real track say the elevation changes are well done. It’s about 52 MB.
Requirements: nothing special; Content Manager recommended. The textures and surroundings are basic, and the AI and grid have glitches, so it works better for practice or track days than for races against the AI. Version 1.0, from July 2020.
Sevilla Circuit
The circuit opened in late 2024 near Seville: 16 corners and an 822-meter straight. ben32star modeled it from LiDAR data captured before it was built, so some elevations don’t match and the author publishes it as a work in progress. It has the 2025 look, multilayer grass and curbs with a rain effect.
Requirements: CSP recommended (GrassFX and RainFX). Manual installation: don’t drag it into Content Manager. Version 0.7.5, unchanged since April 2025 and with only 7 ratings.
Madring (Madrid)
The IFEMA circuit that hosts the Spanish F1 Grand Prix from 2026. Tyrone Hesbrook (Nukedrop) made it in one day from the map published on January 23, 2024 and the real streets. He himself presents it as a drivable sketch, not an exact replica. It supports 32 AI cars and has a 4.63 out of 5.
Requirements: CSP and Content Manager, and about 180 MB. It hasn’t been updated since January 2024, so it may differ from the final layout. According to reviews, it’s quite demanding on your PC and doesn’t detect corner cutting.
Spanish rally stages
All three are tarmac. If you’re interested in rally in general, there’s more context in Assetto Corsa rally.
RallyRACC Catalunya: Coll de la Teixeta
The RallyRACC classic on the Costa Daurada (Tarragona): 4.4 km and 35 corners that the World Championship has used 11 times in 14 years. It was the Power Stage in 2011 and the Rally de España shakedown in 2022. EttieApple took elevation and camber from Spanish Government LiDAR data, with the famous roundabout included. It has two layouts with time control, 20 pit boxes and pace notes for the Co-driver app based on Kris Meeke and Paul Nagle’s real ones.
Requirements: CSP, Sol and Content Manager recommended, although it works without them; about 225 MB. The roundabout can confuse the AI. The full Riudecanyes stage, about 16 km, is paid on the author’s Patreon. Version 2.1, unchanged since October 2023.
Tramo Ermita de Sant Antoni (Alcoi)
One of the game’s most popular Spanish mods: over 80,000 downloads and a 4.78 out of 5. It’s a narrow, twisty road on the outskirts of Alcoi (Alicante), with sidewalks right up against the road, made by Genis. Version 1.01 fixes the sidewalk collisions, and the reverse version is released separately.
Requirements: CSP recommended, and 7-Zip or WinRAR to open the .rar. Once extracted, go into the tramoermitadeSanAntonio folder and copy its content and extension folders into your Assetto Corsa folder. Criticism focuses on the minimap, which is too zoomed in. Unchanged since May 2020.
Shakedown 26º Rallye La Nucía
The test stage of the Rallye La Nucía, in the Marina Baixa (Alicante), also by Genis. He built it with KSEditor, placing the vegetation and signs by hand. It has a 4.86 out of 5 from 22 votes and almost 10,000 downloads. The reverse version is on a separate mod page.
Requirements: CSP recommended and about 155 MB. Version 0.99, unchanged since December 2020.
Hillclimbs and mountain passes
Pico Veleta Subida/Bajada
The A-395 road that climbs to the Veleta in Sierra Nevada (Granada), the highest paved road in Europe according to the mod page. It’s 11.9 km from 2,430 to 3,289 m, with an average gradient of 7.4% and ramps of 21.3%. Genis built it with Race Track Builder: observatories, chairlifts, around 14,000 drivable rocks and 50 pit boxes. It has a 4.96 out of 5 and over 12,000 downloads.
Requirements: CSP with GrassFX enabled, a weather mod with built-in rain (Sol or similar) and about 505 MB free. The final download is on MEGA, linked from the author’s page. It needs quite a lot of memory. Version 1.0, from December 2021.
Subida a Santo Emiliano (Asturias)
A classic event of the Spanish Hillclimb Championship, on the AS-269 from Sama de Langreo up to the Alto de Santo Emiliano. Highlights are the tunnel start and the tightly linked corners.
Requirements: CSP recommended; only 47 MB. The asphalt is very wavy: if it bothers you, the author explains you can set SIN_HEIGHT, SIN_LENGTH, VIBRATION_GAIN and VIBRATION_LENGTH to zero in the track’s surfaces file. If the map doesn’t show up or your times aren’t saved, delete the track’s map.png. Version 1.0, from August 2021.
Subida a Viladrau – Montseny
The «2000 corners» stage of the Viladrau Classics Sprint Rally: 8.4 km of the GI-543, from the entrance to Viladrau to the junction with the C-25, through the forests of the Montseny. It has a timed section, streetlights that work at night and 16 pit boxes.
Requirements: CSP recommended for night lighting and about 450 MB free. It doesn’t include replay cameras. The only review gives it 3 stars: the layout is well liked, but the road is wider than the real one. Version 1.7.
The Tajo Hillclimb
A road in the Alto Tajo Natural Park between Poveda de la Sierra and Taravilla, about 16 km long, narrow and twisty. Its author, Rafa Sanchez, takes inspiration from the real route but doesn’t copy it meter by meter. It has timing, sectors and four pit boxes in the free version.
Requirements: nothing special; Content Manager optional. Traffic, the Taravilla to Poveda hotlap and a race mode with 17 cars are donation extras. Version 1.2, from August 2017.
Sa Calobra (Mallorca)
The road of linked hairpins on Mallorca’s north coast, also used in the Rally Clásico de Mallorca. SuperStage, the author of La Bollène-Vésubie, turns it into an 11 km stage with three layouts (uphill, downhill and free roam), 24 pit boxes and a physics mesh of 1.5 million points. It has a 4.75 out of 5 on the author’s website.
Requirements: CSP and Sol recommended; it’s installed by dragging the file into Content Manager. It’s only downloadable from the author’s store, pay what you want. It doesn’t list a version or size.
Arrabassada
The road linking Barcelona with Sant Cugat del Vallès through the Tibidabo area: it starts urban and ends in mountain corners. It’s about 5.25 km, with photographic textures, viewpoints, 40 pit boxes, traffic lights and night mode.
Requirements: CSP recommended for rain, grass and night, and Content Manager to choose the layout. The free version only includes free roam mode; the uphill, the downhill, the rally layout and the AI traffic are in the paid version. Version 1.1, from December 2022.
Spanish cars
SEAT León TCR 2018
One of the game’s best-rated mod cars. It recreates the León from the 2018 British TCR, and its author, Shaun Clarke, tuned it using Carl Swift’s telemetry and onboard cameras at Silverstone. About 355 hp, Yokohama slicks, a MoTeC display and revised AI.
Requirements: nothing special; Content Manager recommended. Version 1.7, from October 2018, with no further changes. Some users say the interior rearview mirror is barely visible.
Citroën C15 D
The classic everyday van, in naturally aspirated diesel, manual, front-wheel-drive form. Its author, x0t, made the model, physics and sound from scratch. It’s not a race car, and that’s the fun of it.
Requirements: CSP required and over 220 MB. Version 0.9, from May 2023, with some pending visual details that don’t affect driving.
Why MotorLand, Montjuïc and Ascari aren’t here
There are much-searched Spanish circuits you won’t find on Holymod, like MotorLand Aragón, Montjuïc or Ascari. The versions we’ve reviewed are conversions from other games or don’t say where the model comes from or whether they have permission, and on Holymod we only link mods published by their own author with a clear origin. If a version that meets this shows up, we’ll add it. For Jarama, the most widespread version is an rFactor conversion; that’s why we link the one created directly for Assetto Corsa by its author.
Suggested combos
These are our own suggestions, except where we quote the mod page.
- Rally around Alicante. The La Nucía mod page suggests pairing it with the Ermita de Sant Antoni. With their reverse versions you get four runs. For a light car, try the Peugeot 106 Rallye S2.
- Tarmac with Group B. For the Teixeta or Sa Calobra, whose mod page recommends light rally cars or a Group B «if you dare», we suggest the Lancia Delta S4 or, for a classic feel, the Lancia Fulvia 1.6 HF.
- Touring cars at home. The SEAT León TCR at Jerez, Jarama or Sevilla for races against the AI or leagues with friends. For the league, see Assetto Corsa servers.
- Long hillclimbs. The Subaru Impreza WRX GD tuned on Pico Veleta, Santo Emiliano or Viladrau.
- Easy cruise. The Citroën C15 D on the Tajo or in the Arrabassada’s free roam mode. Its author recommends the French mountain pass Col des Mourèzes, which isn’t in our directory.
To set up each car for each layout, there’s the Assetto Corsa setups guide, and for the rest of the game, the best Assetto Corsa mods.
Frequently asked questions
Which Spanish circuit comes officially in Assetto Corsa?
The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, with GP and MotoGP layouts, in the Dream Pack 2 DLC. The other Spanish tracks in this guide are mods.
Do I need Custom Shaders Patch for the Spanish mods?
It depends. Jerez works without it, and the mod pages for Jarama, the Tajo and the SEAT León TCR don’t ask for it. Madring, Pico Veleta and the Citroën C15 D need it, and the rest recommend it. We explain it in how to install mods in Assetto Corsa.
What’s the best Spanish rally stage?
By popularity, the Ermita de Sant Antoni, with over 80,000 downloads. By accuracy, the Teixeta, built with LiDAR data and notes based on the real ones. For hillclimbs, Pico Veleta has the best rating: 4.96 out of 5.
Is there a MotorLand Aragón for Assetto Corsa?
There are versions around, but they’re conversions from other games without their creators’ permission, so we don’t link them.
