What this mod does
Jarama is the Madrid circuit that hosted the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix and today is mainly used for track days and events. This mod brings it to Assetto Corsa in a version created by its author, who presented it as his first track.
What you’ll find
- Jarama’s current layout with its corners and elevation changes. Several users who know the real track point out that the slopes and corner angles are well done.
- A lightweight file, about 52 MB, that loads quickly even on modest PCs.
- Permission from the author for other modders to improve it freely.
Limitations
It isn’t a professional-grade track, and the author admits it. The textures and surroundings are basic, and some users report problems with the AI and with car placement on the grid. That’s why it’s better suited to solo practice, learning the track or track day laps than to races against the AI.
Why this version
The most widespread version of Jarama for Assetto Corsa is a conversion of an rFactor track. This one, on the other hand, was made directly for Assetto Corsa by its author and is only distributed from its official page, so it’s the one we recommend if you want a clean, free option.

How to install it
- Open the mod's page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the track file (about 52 MB).
- Drag the file into Content Manager to install it, or extract it and copy the track folder to assettocorsa/content/tracks.
- Look for Jarama in the track list in Content Manager or the original launcher.
- Start with a practice session to check that everything loads properly.
Common problems
The AI cars behave strangely
Several users report that the AI and the grid aren't well sorted. Use it for practice or solo track day laps.
Does it have the old Formula 1 layout?
No. It includes the current layout; some users have asked for the historic variant, but it doesn't exist in this version.
Why not use the other version of Jarama going around?
That one is an rFactor conversion. This one was created for Assetto Corsa by its author and is downloaded from its official page.
