What this mod does
The Salita dei Monti Iblei is a hill climb in Sicily. This mod by Acelith Simracing (Andrea Cugnata) recreates it over 8.5 km with textures captured on location and, according to the author, with help from the organizers of the real event. It has almost 3,900 downloads and an average rating of 4.96 out of 5.

Details
The asphalt reproduces the bumps and dips of the real road, especially in the first sector and on the two bridges, so low, stiff cars suffer. There’s a shaded hairpin with less grip, maritime pines, RainFX, lights and about 50 pit boxes.
Requirements and installation
It needs Custom Shaders Patch because it uses GrassFX. With Content Manager you just drag the file in; without it, copy the ace_salita_dei_monti_iblei folder into the tracks folder. If you’re coming from a version older than 1.0, delete the old folder first because the layout names changed.

How to install it
- Install or update Custom Shaders Patch.
- Open the Salita dei Monti Iblei page on OverTake.gg, sign in and download the file.
- If you had a version older than 1.0, delete its folder first.
- With Content Manager: drag the file into the window, click the green icon at the top right and then Install.
- Without Content Manager: copy the ace_salita_dei_monti_iblei folder into the Assetto Corsa tracks folder (content/tracks).
- Pick one of the seven layouts and head out.

Common problems
Does it work without CSP?
No: it uses GrassFX and the author says Custom Shaders Patch is required.
I'm seeing duplicate layouts
Delete the folder from the pre-1.0 version: the layout names changed.
Which cars work well?
The author warns that low cars with stiff suspension suffer over the bumps in the first sector and on the bridges.
