Sa Calobra (Mallorca) for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

The road that climbs up from Sa Calobra, on Mallorca’s north coast, is famous among cyclists for its back-to-back hairpins, and it’s also been used as a stage in the Rally Clásico de Mallorca. SuperStage, the creator of La Bollène-Vésubie, has turned it into an 11 km stage for Assetto Corsa.

• Custom Shaders Patch integration; the author recommends using it with Sol.

Who it’s for

For anyone looking for a highly technical Spanish tarmac stage: narrow straights, rock walls on one side, a sheer drop on the other and hairpins that never end. It works great with light rally cars, or a Group B if you dare. It’s rated 4.75 out of 5 on the author’s site; the only recurring complaint is that the upper section has little vegetation, which the author explains is what the real landscape looks like.

You download it from the superstage.net store at a pay-what-you-want price: you decide how much to pay. You install it by dragging the file into Content Manager.

How to install it

1. Open the Sa Calobra page on superstage.net.
2. Enter the amount you want to pay in the price field and add it to your cart.
3. Complete the order and download the .7z file.
4. Drag it into the Content Manager window, or extract it into assettocorsa/content/tracks.
5. Choose the uphill layout, the downhill layout or free mode.
6. Enable Custom Shaders Patch and Sol to see the stage the way the author intended.
