Forest Rally: Stage 2 for Assetto Corsa

What this mod does

Forest Rally: Stage 2 is a made-up 12.2 km stage on gravel roads through a European forest. It was built from scratch by ultranew_b, who had already made Forest Rally, Lakeside and Alpine Rally, and it isn’t a conversion from another game.

What’s included

• 12.2 km of narrow, fast gravel road.
• Working AI (very demanding) and multiplayer support.
• Custom replay cameras and support for several weather types.
• A custom dust texture so the dirt clouds match the color of the surface.

Who it’s for

It’s one of the few gravel stages built from scratch for Assetto Corsa, and it’s among the most downloaded rally stages on the old RaceDepartment. Ideal for trying gravel-setup cars like the Fiesta WRC or the Delta S4.

Recommended settings

The author suggests setting the AI to 80% (any stronger and it turns kamikaze), the track condition to «Dusty» to simulate slippery dirt, and racing between 12:30 and 13:00 with light fog. It’s a 2015 mod that hasn’t been updated, so it doesn’t take advantage of Custom Shaders Patch features.

Requirements

• About 50 MB of free space for the download
• Free OverTake.gg account to download

How to install it

1. Go to the stage's page on OverTake.gg and sign in.
2. Download the file (about 50 MB) and read the included readme.
3. Copy the track folder into assettocorsa/content/tracks or drag it into Content Manager.
4. Also install the dust texture that comes in the package if the readme says so.
5. In the session, set the track condition to Dusty and the AI to 80%.
6. Pick a rally car with a gravel setup and go racing.
