What this mod does
One of the best-rated modded cars for Assetto Corsa is a SEAT. This León TCR reproduces the version that raced in the 2018 TCR UK championship, and its author, Shaun Clarke, fine-tuned it by comparing it lap by lap at Silverstone with the telemetry and onboard footage of Carl Swift, a real driver in that series.
What you get on track
- A turbo engine with about 355 hp and 420 Nm, with the rev limiter at 6,800 rpm.
- Medium-compound Yokohama slick tires.
- A new MoTeC display and cockpit LED lights that match the real car’s.
- Several liveries included and revised AI for racing against the computer.
How it drives
It’s a front-wheel-drive race car: it brakes very late, turns in decisively and asks for patience on corner exit so you don’t punish the front tires. The brakes need a couple of laps to get up to temperature. It’s ideal for touring car races against the AI or for leagues with friends.
Before you install it
The latest version is 1.7, from October 2018, and the mod no longer gets changes. According to the mod page, it works in Assetto Corsa with no special requirements. The team asks that it not be redistributed or modified without their permission, so download it only from their OverTake page.

How to install it
- Go to the SEAT León TCR 2018 page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the file (about 184 MB).
- Drag the file into Content Manager and click install, or copy the car folder to assettocorsa/content/cars.
- Open Drive, search for León TCR in the car list and pick a livery.
- Do a couple of warm-up laps before you start braking late.

Common problems
The brakes lock up in the first few laps
The author tuned the brakes so they need about two warm-up laps; get some heat into them before pushing.
