What this mod does
The Corvette C6 is the front-engined, rear-wheel-drive American V8 sports car that came before the C7 Kunos includes in the game. This mod is the work of Some1 (Siim Annuk), the same author behind the Honda NSX, who first modeled it for rFactor in 2012 and later adapted and improved it for Assetto Corsa.

How it drives
Lots of torque and a rear axle you need to treat carefully on the exit of slow corners. The physics are now handled by Arch, who reworked the tires, brakes and chassis flex between 2025 and 2026.
Before you install it
The current versions require Custom Shaders Patch (0.2.11 or later recommended). The sound is a placeholder taken from the Kunos Corvette C7. The author himself admits that, since it comes from an rFactor project, not everything is up to the level of the newest Assetto Corsa cars.

Requirements
- Assetto Corsa for PC
- Custom Shaders Patch 0.2.11 or later (required for the current versions)
- Content Manager recommended for installation

How to install it
- Install or update Custom Shaders Patch from Content Manager.
- Go to the Corvette C6 page on OverTake.gg and log in.
- Download the file (about 36 MB).
- Drag the ZIP into Content Manager and click install, or extract it into the main Assetto Corsa folder.
- In Drive, search for Corvette C6 and choose the Coupé, Z06, Grand Sport or ZR1.
- If you play with a controller, start with the Coupé or the Grand Sport and work your way up.

Common problems
The car is undrivable after updating
Make sure you have CSP 0.2.11 or later; some users on older CSP versions find it unstable.
Why does it sound like the Corvette C7?
The author uses the Kunos C7 sound as a placeholder; there are no dedicated recordings.
Is it a conversion from another game?
The author modeled it himself for rFactor in 2012 and adapted it to Assetto Corsa himself; it isn't a conversion of someone else's work.
