What this mod does
The NSX is the most famous mid-engined Japanese sports car of the nineties, and this mod by Some1 (Siim Annuk) is the most downloaded modded car for Assetto Corsa on OverTake. It’s been out since 2015, but version 3.0 rebuilt it almost entirely: a new interior modeled from scratch, a reworked exterior, and revised physics and sounds.
Included versions
- 1991 Honda NSX and 1992 and 1994 Acura NSX.
- 1992 and 1994 Honda NSX-R, lighter and with stiffer setups.
- 1999 Acura NSX Alex Zanardi Edition and 1997 Honda NSX Type S-Zero.
- Two fictional S1 variants (1994 Acura and 1997 Honda).
How it drives
It’s a nineties road car: few electronic aids, a naturally aspirated engine that loves to rev and a rear axle that warns you if you lift mid-corner. It’s great for relaxed drives on mountain roads or for pushing hard on track with the NSX-Rs. The physics are now handled by Arch, who in 2025 and 2026 reworked the tire and brake temperatures and the chassis flex.
Before you install it
The author warns that it doesn’t work in Assetto Corsa without Custom Shaders Patch; he recommends 0.2.11 or later. Skins made for versions before 3.0 aren’t compatible. It’s only distributed on OverTake: the author forbids modifying it and uploading it to other websites.
